Home Care Packages

Home Care Packages are for people aged 65 years or older (or 50 years or older for Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander people) who need a little more assistance to maintain their independence living at home. With a focus on personalised care, Home Care Packages cater to a wide range of needs, including assistance with daily tasks, personal care, medication management, minor home modifications, allied health and nursing support.

A Home Care Package is a government funded package that provides assistance accessing and paying for some of the extra health and living needs as people get older. It’s delivered in-home and is designed to help enable people to remain living as independently as possible in their own home.
