We value and promote our residents’ privacy, freedom of choice and confidence. As a tight-knit team, we aim to provide an experience that supports each person to live the best life they can. We create an environment that promotes the interests of each resident by facilitating various activities, such as bus outings, intergenerational activities, exercise groups, bowls/golf, gardening, BBQ and pizza days, and daily happy hour. Additionally, we send a monthly calendar to families and maintain a private Facebook page so families can see what the residents are doing each day.

Iona Digby Harris Home also offers three private sitting rooms where families can enjoy quality time together.

Residents are encouraged to decorate their rooms with personal belongings and mementos to make it feel more like home.

We actively promote meaningful partnerships with our families and friends, believing that by everyone contributing, everyone belongs. We host monthly meetings, where resident’s families are invited to come along and share a meal, some games and friendly conversation.
