Outside School Hours Care
Introducing the West Wimmera Health Service Outside of School Hours Care (OSHC) program – where every child's potential is nurtured through play, creativity, and social engagement.

Vacation Care: January 2025
West Wimmera Health Service is providing vacation care for school aged children in January 2025, with a wide range of activities scheduled to keep your children entertained.
​
It will operate on Monday 20 January, Tuesday 21 January and Wednesday 22 January from 9am – 4:30pm at the new Outside School Hours Care building at 35 Queen Street, Nhill.
​
Please send your children with a packed lunchbox. Some fruit and light snacks will be provided.
​
To enrol your children in vacation care, please complete the online enrolment form and select the vacation care days you would like to book.
​
If you have already completed the enrolment form for after school care but wish to now book your children in vacation care, please email: oshc@wwhs.net.au and note the vacation dates you would like to book.
​
The daily fee for vacation care is $90.15. Child Care Subsidy is available for eligible families.

After school care commencing Term 1 2025
West Wimmera Health Service’s after school care program will commence Term 1 2025, with the first day being Wednesday 29 January.
​
After school care will operate on Mondays and Wednesdays, after school until 5:15pm at the new Outside School Hours Care building at 35 Queen Street, Nhill.
​
The school bus service transports children from Nhill schools to after school care.
​
Fruit and light snacks are provided.
​
To enrol your children in after school care, please complete the online enrolment form and select the after school care days you would like to book.
​
The daily fee for after school care is $36. Child Care Subsidy is available for eligible families.

Our OSHC program is dedicated to providing a safe, enriching environment for school-aged children (5-12 years old) during non-school hours. Whether families need childcare for work, study, or personal reasons, we offer flexible and reliable services tailored to meet the diverse needs of families in Nhill and its surrounding areas.
