Pathology
West Wimmera Health Service offers blood testing at our sites in Nhill, Natimuk, Minyip, Murtoa and Rupanyup. We also collect other pathology specimens for sending to other pathology services.
What we offer
If you require a blood test and you have a referral from your doctor, you can visit the following locations to have your blood drawn by our friendly Community Health Nurse:
Nhill
Clinic Hours: Tuesdays and Wednesdays, 8:00 am - 10:30 am
Location: Please report to Medical Imaging reception
Booking Essential: call our main reception on 5391 4222 and follow the prompt to 'Community and Allied Health'.
Natimuk
Clinic Hours: Wednesdays, 8:00 am - 9:00 am
Location: Natimuk Doctors Surgery
Booking Essential: call Natimuk Reception on 5363 4401.
Minyip and Murtoa
Clinic Hours: Weekdays until 2:45 pm
Location: Community Health Centre
Booking Essential: please call your local Community Health Centre to book an appointment.

Clinic Hours: Tuesdays until 1:30 pm

Cost
Concession - $4
Non-concession - $8

There will be no cost for children under 18, whose parents have proof of concession. Concession will cover health care card, disability, and aged pension card holders. Seniors Card does not apply. There is no cost for DVA card holders.

If concerned about the cost of the service, please ask our staff to explain the financial hardship application process. A late fee of $10 may be applied for accounts outstanding after 60 days.
